Lou Fogle, Class of 1965, has been inducted into the Western North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame effective April 26, 2009 for his accomplishments as the winningest football coach at Asheville High School. He was honored by having his high school number permanantly retired last September at Franklin High School in Franklin, PA. Lou was a member of Numeral Society 1962-65 and started at end for the Tiger football team wearing number 89 that younger NS brother Wayne Bell wore after his graduation.
